Reading progress

When you mark a reading complete, this site saves the checked step numbers in your browser’s local storage. This progress stays on that device and browser. It is not an account and does not sync. Reset a path using its reset button, or remove the site’s stored data through your browser settings.

Search

The search page downloads an index of this guide and matches your words in your browser. The site’s search code does not send your query to a search service or include it in the custom analytics events.

Usage measurement

This site includes Google Analytics. The reading tools send events such as opening an online text, changing the theme view, and completing a reading step. These identify the book, theme, or step, rather than your notes. Google’s script may use cookies and collect information about your device and visit. Browser privacy settings and content blockers may limit this collection.

Online editions, publisher pages, and GitHub are separate websites. When you follow a link, their own data practices apply. The correction link opens GitHub, where an account is required to submit an issue.
